Looking for wholesale barware? There are a number of reputable online retailers that offer very decently priced barware and other accessories related to the home or small bar. I found very reasonably priced merchandise from http://www.crateandbarrel.com/spill.aspx?c=210 . Crate and Barrel seems to offer a little bit of every type of bar item that you may wish to include in your bar.
For an even larger selection of barware at reasonable prices, check out http://www.beveragefactory.com/spirits/bartools/index.shtml . If you're looking for unique versions of the standard bar accessories, like shakers, pitchers and the like, you'll certainly find the unique piece you are looking for here.
If you're unsure what all bar accessories you may wish to equip your bar with, it may bea good idea to refer to a list of popular barware items, such as the one found below.
For wine drinkers, you should have a decent corkscrew on hand. The best corkscrews are the waiter versions with the metal piece opposite the corkscrew itself that allows one to easily prop and lever the cork out without undue force. These types of corkscrews also have a handy little saw blade that's just sharp enough to cut through the seal around the neck of a wine bottle.
Next, come wine glasses. It's a good idea to have at least two types of wine glasses on hand: one kind of white or any non-red wines, and one style for any type of red wine. Of course these include merlot, pinot noir and any wine with a red base.
Along with wine glasses you must find a way to store these glasses. Instead of just filling up a cupboard with them, how about storing them in a handy and attractive wine glass rack? You can find wine glass racks that hang from overhead as well as those that are mounted on the wall. These are great ways to store wine glasses where they will not become dusty -or at least the drinking portion will never become dusty, as the glasses hang inverted from the wine glass rack.
To attractively display the wine bottles that make up your collection, you may with to purchase a wine rack of some type. There are all kinds of wine bottle racks, from small bar type set ups to more elaborate wine bottle racks and custom jobs too. There are even modular wine bottle rack systems that you can mix and match in create the exact wine bottle rack that will fit your needs.
Then there are combination wine bottle racks and wine glass racks. These are great in smaller bar set ups, as within the same horizontal space you can store glasses, wine bottles and all other kinds of wholesale barware that you've chosen to incorporate into your home bar.
To accommodate beer drinkers it makes sense to have some pint glasses or other type of beer glasses, as well as bottle openers. There are hand held bottles openers as well as bar or wall mounted bottle openers that you can choose from.
Some basic wholesale barware that no bar should be without include things like ice buckets, shot measurers and shot glasses, shakers, as well as ice tongs, coasters, napkins and swizzle sticks for guests to mix their drinks with.
Though an ice bucket may seem somewhat extravagant, it's really a must have. Instead of running to the freezer for ice every time another round of drinks are mixed, you can simply remove the ice you need directly from the ice bucket sitting on the bar.
No bar ice bucket is complete without a nice pair of ice tongs that people use to remove ice cubes from the ice bucket. Nearly all mixed drink recipe calls for ice cubes in the shaker to chill the drinks as they are mixed.
You simply must have a good shaker on hand in which to mix everyone's favorite drinks. I say, "the bigger the better". It seems like every gathering that includes drinks is the same: the cocktail shaker just isn't big enough to mix the amount of drinks that every one is asking for. So I say why not go with the largest cocktail shaker available? I have since purchased a larger shaker and have been very pleased with the decision.
There are a number of wholesale barware dealers online. There are two types of so-called wholesale barware, the kind that is reasonably priced retail barware or barware at the prices that franchise bars and pubs are able to purchase at the reduced prices that they pay. That's the thing, everyone's looking for 'wholesale barware', yet are not willing to buy the quantity that true wholesale barware comes in.
If I were you, I'd include terms such as 'discount' in my internet search for reasonably priced barware. Unless you're a bar owner and will be purchasing in large quantities I'd stay away from using the term 'wholesale; because you'll find either true wholesale barware websites, or you'll find websites of retailers that like to throw around the word wholesale.
There are many reputable and reasonably priced barware dealers online, such as the websites mentioned above. Another good place to find lots and individual barware pieces is eBay or some other popular online auction website. Auctions are big business now. Some of the biggest businesses and corporations sell their items at these online auction houses. Just pay attention to shipping costs, and you're sure to walk away with some great bargains.
