A New Health Epidemic - Lack of Exercise in Teens

One survey conducted recently shows that, among kids of all age groups, teenagers are far less likely to get exercise. This is a new trend that reflects the growing way of life increasingly adopted by people throughout the developed world. These days, teenagers may get as little as 15 or fewer minutes of exercise per day, only a tiny fraction of what their parents or grandparents typically received. This is a direct result of the fact that teens are spending more and more time surfing the web or watching television. These facts call attention to the dire need for parents to take a more active role in determining how teens spend their time.
