We all know that vending machines provide us with access to treats that are usually not great for us. Candy, soda, snack foods, cigarettes, even frozen treats full of fat and sugar. They cater to that craving inside of us that says we must have that treat, that vice, right now and we cannot wait until our brain gets control of our body. In fact, we crave the particular item so much we're willing to pay double the price or more just to get it now, get it fast, get it cold, or not, or whatever we need.
