There are also some things you will need to know, like prices for printing services and software. Try to find a niche for your cards and try to work with small stores. You can still make a nice profit, there is no need to worry too much you do not have the same opportunities as the big companies in the field.
In order to sell your creations, start a website. This will be the way to contact your future customers. Become the owner of a website and of a domain and then you can get down to business. Keep your costs low, at first, so you do not find yourself, in a poor financial situation.
After making the website, start filling it with content. The content is nothing else than your personal greeting card designs that you have been working on. In order to get customers visiting your website, make it search engine optimized. You also need to put ordering information for each card. To attract more people, offer them good deals, like one card for free for one bought, or anything else that crosses your mind. If you provide people with good quality products and you show them appreciation for using your services, you will soon begin to develop a name in the field.
When an order is placed for a greeting card, be prepared to print it and send it to the customer. To earn more money, offer personalized greeting cards for those willing to pay a little more. If you offer customers a large pool of cards from which they can choose, then you really are in business.
