Ok, so by now most of you will know what a Perfect Name Squeeze Page is. For those of you that don't A Perfect Name Squeeze Page is simply a page that you will send traffic to. This page is then designed to capture the visitors name and email address. It's basically signup or go away. There are however a few factors that will determine the conversion rate of the page, and that my friend is what we are going to be looking at today.
The Conversion Factors,
- Headline
- Picture
- Value
- Data Script
- Testimonials
- Urgency / Scarcity
Lets break these down:
Headline:
The Headline is the title of your Perfect Name Squeeze Page. This will be the first line of text that the visitor will read, and can determine whether or not the visitor will leave your Perfect Name Squeeze Page after 8 seconds. You should always test different headline to see which headline will work best for you.
Picture:
The picture or header graphic should be designed to suit your market place. so, if you are in the automobile industry, then you would want a picture of a car. If your in the marketing industry then you would want a picture of the ultimate life style. The picture should represent what the visitor will get by signing up to your opt-in form.
Value:
Always add the price of the product that you are going to be giving away for free, this can add real value to your product, and increase your conversion rate. Everyone loves to get a great deal.
Data Script:
This is a great little feature that allow you to make your website look current. Users like to be up to date with the information that they are getting. So by adding a Date Script to your website, it helps give the illusion that your website is current and of high value. You can also add extra features - such as - This product will expire [Five days from now]. This can increase the scarcity factor.
Testimonials:
This one simple factor can greatly increase your conversion rates, if done right. Your testimonials must be believable. You must add in all of the key factors.
For Example:
- Photo
- Full Name
- City / State
- Audio or Video - Don't go over board
- Scans of type written letters.
Urgency / Scarcity:
Always try to add a sense of urgency, you want them to take action right now!! Add a limited offer or a time sensitive offer. Very powerful.
Thats it, follow those simple rule are you will see your conversion rapidly increase. When split testing your Name Squeeze Pages only ever test one thing at a time.
