Yellow pages on the other hand are categorized by the type of business. The yellow pages are one of the first places a consumer goes to look when they are seeking contact information on a particular business. This is how many businesses end up obtaining new customers and increasing their profits.

Listing your business name in the yellow pages is a great way to increase your profits and customer traffic. The cheapest way to enter your business into the yellow pages of a phone book is simply to have your contact information listed. For extra fees it is possible to take out a full page advertisement or a small square display in the yellow pages.
