There are many great reasons to advertise your static caravan for hire on the internet. Obviously the internet is used by a staggering large amount of people each day, many people for example, searching for their next caravan holiday! The internet is therefore the ideal delivery mechanism to drive people towards your caravan hire business.

So, what options do you have open to you for advertising your caravan for hire online?

Well, many caravan owners choose to build their own website (or have one built for them) as an online brochure for their caravans. Building a website to advertise your caravan has advantages and disadvantages. Advantages include the freedom to develop and add content to your site however you see fit, you can change prices and availability as often as you like, add special offers to your website, upload new photos, etc.

A major disadvantage of building a website for yourself is that you’re going to require some knowledge of how to make a website, such as HTML, CSS and other programming languages. So if you’re not that computer/technically minded your going to have to learn, which of course is going to take a considerable investment of your time. Many peoples (self made) caravan websites on the internet are crudely built and do not necessarily project a professional front to a business, which may be a turn off to potential customers.

You could choose to have one built for you, but this is going to cost you money, unless you have a friend who can build one for you for free or at least at a discount price. Building a website however is only half the battle, your still going to be faced with the time consuming task of driving traffic/people to your website. If you don’t have knowledge of internet marketing this is another area where you are going to need to do some research.

Why not save all of the time, effort and cost of making your own website for your caravan and simply advertise your caravan on an existing site for a yearly price? When advertising your caravan on another website you don’t need to concern yourself with driving traffic to, or maintaining your own website. All you would need to do is provide the website owner with some photos of your caravan and some information about it.

Naturally you should endeavour to provide quality photos and copy to make your caravan stand out against other caravans which will be listed on the site, to help show your caravan in its best light!
