Start a Home Business in This Economy? By now you would have had to have been living under a rock to have not heard about how bad the economy is. We hear daily about people losing their jobs, businesses are closing left and right. Even Big businesses like Ford and General Motors are talking about closing or filing bankruptcy. Years ago we never would have dreamed that the day would come that these giants could close their doors and yet it has become a very real possibility. Every time you turn on the tv all you hear is bad news about the economy. What you dont hear is that whenever times get tough and the economy is bad then that is the perfect time to start a new home business. I don't know if it is true that "the fact that most people that have their own home business actually make MORE money than they did while working their old job. Usually people will need to spend much less time working their home business than the long hours that most jobs require and with a home business is much easier than most jobs."
Working at home is still a job and it takes hard work and lots of effort to be successful. It is still a good idea. The best opportunity will include significant networking and support from others doing the same thing. Going it alone is a real challenge. Get into something that includes someone you can call on a daily basis to help you get started - someone who is already really succeeding at it. Preferably someone, or several someones that you can meet with in person. I found my opportunity - see www.biwishop.com I do agree that the faltering economy can be a good time to ensure you have an additional revenue source. Find a way to help people save money and make money simply by doing something they are already doing and you will prosper.
